The Swix VP50 Pro Light Violet is a specialized climbing wax that is ideal for conditions just below freezing. It is primarily used by racers, ambitious recreational skiers, and ski tourers who want to get the most out of their performance. The wax performs optimally on fresh or fine-grained snow at temperatures ranging from 0°C to -3°C, as well as on old or transformed snow from -1°C to -6°C. This climbing wax contains a new additive that ensures maximum wax performance, thereby enhancing both glide and grip, which together result in an outstanding skiing experience. It provides perfect grip as long as the tracks do not become excessively shiny. The wax is applied in thin layers and smoothed with a synthetic cork. To achieve the best results, it is important to remove wax residue with a scraper before applying a new layer. The application techniques for the VP line have been extensively tested and frequently recommended for the World Cup, making them the top choice for competitors and serious coaches.
